Need help adjusting the door gap or height on your Samsung fridge? Some Samsung fridges provide snap rings that slot between the door grommet and the hinge in order to change the height. These snap rings come in 4 different sizes, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, and 2.5mm.
Prior to following the below guide ensure that you have your snap rings handy.
If you have misplaced them or require replacements please Contact Us.
Follow the below guide for step-by-step instructions.
Note: The following is a general guide, and may not apply to all models. Please consult your User Manual for information pertaining to your fridge.
If the Refrigerator is level before you load it with food, it may become unbalanced due to the weight of the food. If this occurs, adjust the level again using this same procedure.
Note: Ensure the snap ring (A) is inserted beneath the door grommet (B). Ensure the shaft of the door grommet (B) is inserted into the hole (C) in the hinge.
Note:
- Make sure to choose the correct size snap ring. Choosing a ring that is too big will then make the door catch and become difficult to close.
- Insert only one snap ring. If you insert two or more snap rings, the rings may slip out or making a rubbing noise.
- Keep the snap rings out of children's reach.
- Make sure to keep the included snap rings for future use.
- Do not raise the door too much. The door can contact and damage the top cover.
