I've had the Z Fold8 Ultra for a few weeks now. I upgraded from the Fold6. I'm happy with the upgrade. The Fold8 Ultra is light, thin and powerful. The cameras are magnificent, battery life is great and I love the size of the main screen when opened. I do miss the S-Pen I had with the previous Fold6. The only complaint is the thickness of the camera. It protruding out of the main body quite a bit and makes it difficult or on some charger impossible to correctly place on wireless charger pads. I opted for an integrated magsafe case and upgraded my charging pads in home, office and vehicle to magsafe compatible fast chargers and have not looked back.

I have had the samsung flip 4, flip 6 and just upgraded to flip 8. I have loved all of them. The samsung flip 8 is thinner and the display is really sharp. Although I have not had much time with it, I am enjoying it so far. There does seem to be a few bugs I am having to work out which I have never experienced before. I am not very good with technology so it is taking me some time with the help of AI. The phone shows that it is off line sometimes and the airplane mode comes on. That has been frustrating. All in all, I hope to work out the bugs and enjoy this phone as much as my previous flip phones.

I've been using the Fold 8 Ultra for a week after upgrading from my S25 Ultra, and I am loving the multitasking capabilities of this phone. When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

I just wanted a flip phone after look on reviews of the 7 then the 8 came out so i just pulled the trigger. Overall its just an flip 7 upgraded for this year My only major complaints are the slow charging speeds considering the new battery tech as well as the phone generates alot of heat when charging, playing games and taking video. The front screen is nice just to check what to ignore and what to open the phone for. Although i wish it could rotate the screen. Even with all of that I've been enjoying the phone for the purpose i bought it which is to use my phone less. They just keep getting better and more durable. I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra as an upgrade to my Zfold 7 because of the extra battery capacity, the newer CPU, the better camera, the better screens (love the more matte look over the shiny), and an ever better hinge. Most of the time, I only use the front screen, but if I want to show off a family picture, or zoom in on an article, I just unfold the phone. I’ve had the Fold8 Ultra for a week now and have been really impressed with it. The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I love how when navigating different it splits the open apps and the available apps on different sides of the screen. I just received it and am in love with it. But now this new phone has 45 watt charge speed and 5000 mAh, just like the S26 ultra. And they werent lying about the improvements they made to the inner screen. So far the experience has been great. Still trying to get used to the small front screen (compared to the 24U) and doing more mult app tasks. There is a learning curve to use the big inner screen. The phone is very slim, even with a case, it is almost the same size as the 24U. Battery life is great, as good as my 24U. Gaming is beautiful. Pair with a mobile controller (like a Gamesir G8+) you got a great handheld device. Great job Samsung. Keep improving the fold line and there will be a lot more customers switching from IOS to Android.
I just received my z fold 8 ultra yesterday, the battery seems to drop quite fast when watching videos and multitasking. The hinge seems durable. The phone seems more responsive than my s25. The crease is almost invisible. Even though I have just received it yesterday, the phone seems quite durable. However, this phone is a tad heavier than my S25, I'm not quite used to it yet. It is a trade off for productivity tho. One thing that quite bother me is the quality of the speaker. I'm trading the featherweight s25 with nice speaker for a z fold 8 ultra with a huge potential of productivity and a great camera. I hope this is a good trade

The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

It's now been over a week since I have started using the new Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra and I love it. Watching YouTube videos on a larger screen and playing a few mobile games on the big screen also helps with eye strains. However, as a nitpick, I do wish the front screen was a bit bigger. I understand it would cost more, which means I will need to pay more, but I wouldn't mind it if I also get a decently bigger screen on the front. I upgraded from the S24 Ultra, so I still need to get used to the smaller screen and smaller keyboard. For a guy with big-ish hands, the small keyboard does annoy me a bit. But I guess that's a skill issue😆

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is a good phone overall. The large foldable screen is great for multitasking, browsing and watching videos, and the performance is smooth for everyday use. The design feels premium and there are plenty of useful features. However, considering the price, I expected a little more. The improvements don't feel significant enough compared with previous Fold models, and battery life could also be better. Overall, I'm happy with the phone, but I wouldn't consider it a major upgrade. I would recommend it if you're specifically looking for a premium foldable, but existing Fold users may want to consider whether the upgrade is worth the cost.

I chose to upgrade because the size, battery, and internals were all major upgrades and I couldn't be happier. I mainly watch videos on my phone but with the new cameras I am excited to be able to take much better and high quality photos. I was blown away by the difference in weight and thickness of the phone and how much nicer it is it have a more traditional sized screen comparable to other candy bar phones while still being able to use the internal screen. Needless to say I plan on continuing to use the z fold line up as long as they are made.

I chose the Fold Ultra 8 for my newer version, and it is a wonderful product. It has the same basic features as the 6, but with great improvements. The phone is thinner, lighter, has a bigger screen, and new features. I have enjoyed working more with Gemini to accomplish a few tasks quicker and can't wait to spend a little more time exploring. There are some new features with photos, circle and search, and many AI features. I highly recommend any Z series Fold, but especially the Ultra 8.

I got this as an upgrade to a previous Samsung fold, and this new Fold8 Ultra is a big improvement over older folds as soon as you pick it up! The folding mechanism seems more sturdy, the crease on the inner screen is basically non-existent during typical usage, and the phone is so light! It's amazing that this is so much more improved than other folding phones while being so slim and nice to hold and easy to read. I've been putting it through its paces with gaming a lot as well, and the battery has held strong and barely drains compared to previous models. This is a seriously good phone, and if you enjoyed previous folding phones - you'll love this one.

They have lessened the crease, put better cameras in and it comes with the latest android software. I have been a Fold user since the Fold 3 and I don't see myself going back. I use the multitasking split screen feature almost everyday. The phone is buttery smooth and feels like a normal candy bar phone when Folded. I am really enjoying my experience with this phone and I'm still learning how to take and edit pictures in a more creative way. The new edit feature that allows you to edit photos and video along with the new filters allow you to create some really cool looking media.

When it arrived, I was FLOORED by how light and how thin it is! I also REALLY like the way it opens, with almost a snap, and the crease is BARELY there! This phone has allowed me to multi cast and 2 both at the same time. 80% or more of the day is me being on my phone for work when I'm away from the desk. The battery last all day and the quality and brightness of the screen allows for me to do everything I can do on a computer to now do it on the phone. Outside of work I play racing games and gotcha games with the large screen size and the response time are on par with playing on a pc. This phone allows for me to control my house ecosystem.

Pro- - Perfect chips, 16gb ram makes it fast with multiple apps open once and not get laggy - Light phone, very minualist, really like the green colour - Light crescent, better foldable experience. - Faster charging speed, easier to open the fold inside Con- - Slow transfer speed, tooks around 3hrs to transfer everything from old S24 Ultra to my phone. And needs to re-enter every password - fragile, didnt do anything and there is a noise when open and closing the fold inside. - No more s-pen support, was thinking about editing pdf and stuff. Overall, good quality, good camera, using education discount etc got to arounds 2.3k, worth the value.

I eventually became frustrated with the poor camera, awkward front screen size, and ever-worsening crease. So I left. But I'm back now with the 8 Ultra. Front screen problem? Gone, this aspect ratio is the perfect blend of normal candy-bar style without being too wide. Camera issues? These are flagship cameras for a flagship phone (finally!). And the crease? Barely noticeable, especially when consuming content. I fell in love with foldables for the incredible productivity and now it works great for everyday family use as well. I cannot recommend this phone enough!

Battery, on the first day, you are setting up everything and there seems to be a significant improvement. Display is definitely brighter and less reflective. Hinge is really snappy to open and much easier (though no problem with fold 7 either). One thing I love about one UI is the responsiveness of the whole UI compared to Magic OS (I have a V6 too). Time will tell on Durability but the fold 7 was perfect for a year, so no reason to doubt the ultra. Speakers are great for such a thing device.

I've been really enjoying the Samsung Z Fold 8 Ultra so far. As this is my first foldable phone, there has definitely been a bit of a learning curve, but it's been a positive experience overall. The larger inner screen is fantastic for browsing, reading emails, multitasking and watching videos. The foldable design took a little time to get used to, but it's quickly become second nature. Performance has been excellent, and the battery life is good, I can get a day and half with normal usage. Which is better than my old phone. I choose this one sleek and very responsive new samsung Z fold8 ultra on my recent upgrade and it does not disappoint. My phone usage goes along the lines of calls, text, photos, videos and games. In each category I have not had a single complaint. It's features and speed are awesome, The clarity of the photos combined with the zoom in ability has helped me on a few occasions to be able to find cracks that i had not noticed with nacked eye. The Ai features is incredible. The phone is easier to open. It's an amazing and incredible device. I'm still learning all the cool features but so far i am obsessed.

With the Z Fold 7 I thought there wasn't really much for Samsung to improve but again they have. The 8 is even thinner which is wild. Literally as thin as the usb c plug. Wondering if the future will be no charge port and just have wireless charging or maybe so new tech will come out. The upgrade to the battery capacity and upgraded cameras are awesome. Overall its been great and I love multi-tasking on my phone for work and personal items. I consistently get ask by random people what phone I have and how I like it. While the thinnes changed slightly, you can feel it - it feels impossibly thin and it's truly an engineering feat. The displays are bright and honestly, overall, this is an incredible phone to use. The wireless charging heat issue remains the same as what I experienced with the Fold 7, so that’s one area where Samsung hasn’t made progress. Battery life, however, is better. Removing the ability to hide the camera hole from the display when the phone is open honestly made me consider returning the device. It was such a poor choice in change from previous models. The recent updates to the UI, changing it to act as a tablet, have degraded the user experience further. The device is honestly a little too thin in my opinion as well. The buttons are placed better than folds from some other companies though, and the lack of visible crease is a nice improvement over previous generations. Overall a very mid phone for the price.

I needed a desktop PC replacement as my partner was recently disabled and I have had to be with her and on my PC at the same time. Having this phone allows me to be on call and able to do almost everything that I do on the PC. The display is fantastic, the build feels sturdy and the hinge is strong. The battery seems good, haven't gone below 50% and I only charge overnight. Charging was iffy at first but, with the right plug and cable, it seems fine now. The new anti reflective film and barely visible crease make content look amazing even in bright conditions. First week review of the Fold after having the owned the last six Galaxy S2x Ultra models. Holds battery surprisingly well. Screens are very responsive and good resolution. OS is very fast and responsive even with the fold/unfold requiring everything on the screen to change modes. Very smart to have front facing cameras on both screens. Room for improvement; a little hard to open the fold without tapping things on the small screen, perhaps a finger gap to open would be better. In the open screen mode the keyboard doesn't make use of the middle of the fold which makes it a bit hard to open. Overall this might be the time to go Fold if you are considering it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Samsung Z Fold line-up for a little while now, so recently when I traded in my Fold 6 and I chose the new Z Fold 8 Ultra, I was expecting some pretty big upgrades. The larger display makes multitasking on this phone just that much better while also having the slimmest and lightest form I've ever felt. The new anti reflective film and barely visible crease make content look amazing even in bright conditions. Also having cameras almost equivalent to the S Ultra series from Samsung is great for when I'm taking photos of landscapes. Overall a very positive experience and upgrade!

My last fold was the Z Fold 3. I switched back to the S series as the Fold was a bit lacking in some specs. I started to miss the bigger screen. I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the z fold 8 ultra and I feel I made the right choice for myself the cameras are great on this, the features this has are great once your start to learn how to use them I'm still learning but I use this for multiple things that's why I chose this over just the 8 this size make the difference but I use my phone for gaming, my kids school stuff, my work on thing when watching the videos prior to the pre order that made the decision was the fact that I constantly was always switching back and forth between tabs or screens having to redo stuff sometimes this makes it so you can easily have that multiple screens for that and nowadays I think that's important.

It stays A LOT cooler when multitasking and multistreaming vs the fold6. The AI features are much more appealing, the sreen is so much smoother, I can go on and on. If your thinking about upgrading to a fold or interested in upgrading your fold, get this! 10/10 highly recommend.
I went from an s25 to this phone, and it is by far the best phone experience to date, first fold device for me, and for video, workflow etc. this thing is great, cameras are amazing and even just using the front screen is a better experience than the s25 (higher res). This phone is so thin, it's an impressive piece of tech. No battery issues so far, 52% by the end of a day, even with fairly steady use.

The battery was getting weak in my existing s22 that I had had for 4 years so I thought it was time for a change. The phone exceeds expectations. The only reason this isn't a five-star review is that I got really used to having an S Pen, but because of the need to keep the phone thin I sort of understand the reason why the S Pen functionality wasn't included. I hope that in future iterations of this device that they will be able to bring back the screen writing functionality. But because of the other benefits the phone offers, I can live without it for now. This is a great phone.

The battery is big and reliable, so you’re not constantly watching the percentage. The crease is still technically there, but it’s finally at the point where you mostly forget about it. Durability feels much better thanks to the titanium structure and tougher overall design. The hinge is smoother, sturdier, and just satisfying to use. The responsiveness makes the whole phone feel fun and fast every time you open it. If you already love foldables or have been waiting for one that feels “ready” for everyday life, the Z Fold 8 Ultra really does feel like that milestone device.

The screen fingerprint reader was such a mess especially if you were using a screen protector. Transferring my old phone to this one was so simple it made it like the phone was set up just for me. I prefer this phone over the regular Fold 8 because I can open it half way if I want to and close this is such a small phone than my oldest 24 Ultra. I also didn't like how the case would rub on my ears when talking on the phone. They Samsung graphite case for this phone is so perfect because the magnetic backing and it doesn't rub my ears when using it as a phone.

I've been using S model phones the last few years but was tempted back to the fold by it being so much thinner, lighter, and brighter than the 4 was and alleviating my main complaints with that phone (the cameras and narrow front screen). So far the 8 seems better in every way. I love that the screen is crisper and brighter, and how the phone snaps open and it perfectly flat - something the 4 could not do. All while easily fitting in my pocket and weighing much less.

Could never get my head round it. Now a much improved and decent camera. The screen is improved and the fold barely visible. Although, to be honest, it didn't really bother me.The fold in the fold seven. It folds away much neater and feels a lot better quality than the seven. The battery fuels like it last slightly longer.Although on my previous fold seven , the battery still seemed okay. Would I recommend it?Yes, I would.It just feels a lot better phone all round.

The older models lacked the nativity of screen scaling across applications, but with the Fold8 Ultra, it has been long enough that most applications seamlessly transition from the standard exterior screen size to the jumbo inner screen. This phone does not disappoint. The processor keeps up with any demand you throw at the phone, and the displays are crystal clear with absolutely no noticeable crease now on the inner screen. Samsung has definitely got it right this time.

I am a big believer in Fold Devices for their comfort, flexibility & expand from a bar to a tablet. I tried and tested many Microsoft, Google & Samsung Fold Devices but settle back to the Samsung Fold for the convenience of Android Ecosystem from Smart Watches, Android Auto, Android Tablets and Phone Link to name a few. Recently upgraded from Fold 6 to Fold 8 Ultra and what a change in sheer strength of hinge, weight of the device and display improvements i notice immediately. So Far I Am Loving My Fold 8 Ultra. Cant wait to test it out end to end and add a bit more feedback post few months of use.

I had a Fold 4 which I loved, but the crease, weight and thickness pushed me to the S24 Ultra at upgrade time. Now instead of the s26 Ultra, I just got the Fold 8 Ultra and it's soo good to be back! The crease is virtually gone, it's lighter, it's impossibly thin, more durable internal screen, bigger battery, brighter screen, flagship chip, higher resolution, improved hinge, flex mode, cover screen preview..almost perfect! My only complaint is the lack of fold pen support which was great on the Fold 4. I get it might have been difficult with how thin the device is and it's not a deal breaker, but it would have been a nice bonus. Great job Samung and thanks for the awesome trade in bonus!

Not to mention how awesome the upgraded battery life is. The crease is significantly less visible and one UI 9 is amazing. The Galaxy AI feature is really help me with my day-to-day life especially with phone call briefings, I also never have to worry about my battery life because it's significantly longer than my fold seven. The day I got it I did not plug it in, transferred all of my files from my old phone. And then went an extra day without charging it because the battery life is so long.

I use it all day long with all activities including Internet search, checking email and playing games. It last me full day from 8am to 11pm. Usually I have to charge during 4/5pm for a little so it can last till the end of night, now a days I don't need to. Screen also have a big improvement, I can easily see much better under the sun compare to before. The middle crease also 95% disappeared which makes wating YouTube or playing games have a much better experience. Overall this is a great phone to own if you want a big screen experience.

I was sceptical as I already had the zfold 6, and love it. Zfold 8 has impressive BT range. The form is better, thinner and the hinge seems more durable and feels lighter. The camera seems better. I found the screen more responsive and the processor is snappier. One thing I had issues was my zfold 6 battery, the zfold 8 battery now lasts all day. I'm happy with my purchase.

The bigger battery means I'm able to go at least a full day and a half without recharging. The screen's new anti-reflective coating and near-invisible crease significantly reduce distractions while viewing content. I love the huge inner screen for photo editing as a hobbyist photographer. The software experience is still unbeaten by any other foldable on the market; Samsung has nearly perfected it. And the new colors are bold yet understated. All in all, I love my new Fold8 Ultra!

I never considered the z fold or any flip series before because I wasn't a fan of the crease in the screen. My friend has has one of the flips and the crease is kinda noticeable. What they did with the 8 is nice because it's not really noticeable and looks nice even when fully open. I also like that it's so light for a phone that opens to 8in. I love the 8 ultras design of being thinner than the regular s ultra series. I end up dropping my phone because it's too big at times. I love the s pen and the screen size just it gets dropped on occasion. I wish in the future they bring the s pen back to the fold series.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
