After a few years with the Ultra, I made the decision to try something new. I chose the Flip 8. The mint one! So cute! I'll miss the S-Pen that came with the Ultra. It made filling out forms on my phone easier. But this is better for me. I needed something more compact and lightweight; which it is. When open, it is lighter than my Ultra 24. Much more comfortable to hold while reading; no cramping up, or in my pocket when going for a walk. Time to customize my phone!

Honestly I was unsure when I first bought the phone, but my previous 2 phones were both Samsung series, so I took a shot. The device runs so much better compared to my old ones (granted they were old A series), and I'm glad that theres a greater RAM storage and it can run games better. As for the camera, I'm not that big of a photo taker so theres not much for me to say about that.

I chose the Samsung Z Flip 8 to maintain a contiguous environment with my Samsung ecosystem. It does not disappoint. Fast and reliable out of the box. Easy to move all my apps from my Z flip 5. The crease at the fold is negligible. The AI integration with One UI 9 makes using this phone enjoyable. It fits in my pocket easily to carry anywhere.
Just a normal person reporting. This phone isn't better out of the box, in my case you have to go to the provider website for the esim which disjoints you from the set up. There is no discernable upgrade for this phone that i can tell. In fact, the color feels matte and not shiny. Everything feels like a downgrade aestheticly. I am not techie so saying how it is perceived. It's about the same size and depth. No real changes with waterproofing or dustproofing. Same camera as far as I can tell. Not impressed. If you don't need a new one, don't buy it. If you are like me and need a flip phone, I'm considering Motorola. Which is exactly what I think Samsung wants.

I have had the samsung flip 4, flip 6 and just upgraded to flip 8. I have loved all of them. The samsung flip 8 is thinner and the display is really sharp. Although I have not had much time with it, I am enjoying it so far. There does seem to be a few bugs I am having to work out which I have never experienced before. I am not very good with technology so it is taking me some time with the help of AI. The phone shows that it is off line sometimes and the airplane mode comes on. That has been frustrating. All in all, I hope to work out the bugs and enjoy this phone as much as my previous flip phones.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra 1TB is honestly a really nice phone. The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

At just 201g, it's the lightest book-style foldable yet and feels much more pocketable. Folded: Wide and compact like a passport — the 5.5-inch cover screen is way more usable one-handed for texting, scrolling, and quick tasks. Unfolded: The 7.6-inch inner screen has a near 4:3 ratio that's excellent for videos, YouTube, Netflix, and browsing with fewer black bars. The crease is much less noticeable thanks to new Flex Titanium tech, and the hinge feels solid. It’s fun to open and close. Some people might still find the thickness or sharp corners slightly awkward in tight pockets, but overall it's a huge improvement in everyday comfort.

I've been using the Fold 8 Ultra for a week after upgrading from my S25 Ultra, and I am loving the multitasking capabilities of this phone. When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

I’ve had the Fold8 Ultra for a week now and have been really impressed with it. The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. This has been by far the best one!

I have been a loyal Z flip owner since its first launch. I have been upgrading every year ever since. I love flip because it fits in all my small purses and my pocket in my scrubs. I have noticed a much faster processing capacity and smoother opening from beinf closed. I was hesistant to upgrade this time around since I knew there weren't a lot of changes made from Z flip 7 which I most recently had. But I'm glad I chose to upgrade since this one feels better in a lot of ways: processing speed, weight, screen folding etc. I'm excited to explore more of this phone and get more out of it. I chose the Galaxy Z Flip8 as an upgrade from the Flip5, and we have been very happy with it. The phone feels refined, the screen looks great, and the larger cover screen makes it much easier to check messages and notifications without opening the phone. The compact folding design is still the biggest reason we like the Flip series because it fits easily in a pocket or purse while still giving you a full-size phone when opened. Setup was easy, performance has been fast, and transferring everything from the previous Galaxy went smoothly. Overall, the Flip8 feels like a worthwhile upgrade and we are very pleased with our purchase.

Love it! This is my 4th Z Flip the size is perfect for pockets, the main screen is protected by the clam fold it's lighter, the hinge is smoother, the "crease" is almost non existent! Colours are better this year too. Linked to all my other devices seamlessly especially my Mini! Battery also lasting longer, always use battery protection so never charge beyond 85% you can now choose your protection level also. Came from the Fold7. I wasn't sure if the upgrade would be worth it, but despite how incremental it is, it makes for a far more complete device! The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

It's now been over a week since I have started using the new Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra and I love it. Watching YouTube videos on a larger screen and playing a few mobile games on the big screen also helps with eye strains. However, as a nitpick, I do wish the front screen was a bit bigger. I understand it would cost more, which means I will need to pay more, but I wouldn't mind it if I also get a decently bigger screen on the front. I upgraded from the S24 Ultra, so I still need to get used to the smaller screen and smaller keyboard. For a guy with big-ish hands, the small keyboard does annoy me a bit. But I guess that's a skill issue😆

I just wanted a flip phone after look on reviews of the 7 then the 8 came out so i just pulled the trigger. Overall its just an flip 7 upgraded for this year My only major complaints are the slow charging speeds considering the new battery tech as well as the phone generates alot of heat when charging, playing games and taking video. The front screen is nice just to check what to ignore and what to open the phone for. Although i wish it could rotate the screen. Even with all of that I've been enjoying the phone for the purpose i bought it which is to use my phone less. If you're considering purchasing this phone first ask yourself why then try and get it at a discount via trade in or promo because i just got mine for less then 1k after trading in my s23

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is a good phone overall. The large foldable screen is great for multitasking, browsing and watching videos, and the performance is smooth for everyday use. The design feels premium and there are plenty of useful features. However, considering the price, I expected a little more. The improvements don't feel significant enough compared with previous Fold models, and battery life could also be better. Overall, I'm happy with the phone, but I wouldn't consider it a major upgrade. I would recommend it if you're specifically looking for a premium foldable, but existing Fold users may want to consider whether the upgrade is worth the cost.

I got this as an upgrade to a previous Samsung fold, and this new Fold8 Ultra is a big improvement over older folds as soon as you pick it up! The folding mechanism seems more sturdy, the crease on the inner screen is basically non-existent during typical usage, and the phone is so light! It's amazing that this is so much more improved than other folding phones while being so slim and nice to hold and easy to read. I've been putting it through its paces with gaming a lot as well, and the battery has held strong and barely drains compared to previous models. This is a seriously good phone, and if you enjoyed previous folding phones - you'll love this one.

Pro- - Perfect chips, 16gb ram makes it fast with multiple apps open once and not get laggy - Light phone, very minualist, really like the green colour - Light crescent, better foldable experience. - Faster charging speed, easier to open the fold inside Con- - Slow transfer speed, tooks around 3hrs to transfer everything from old S24 Ultra to my phone. And needs to re-enter every password - fragile, didnt do anything and there is a noise when open and closing the fold inside. - No more s-pen support, was thinking about editing pdf and stuff. Overall, good quality, good camera, using education discount etc got to arounds 2.3k, worth the value.

The phone is amazing, beautiful, large display with brilliant brighness and colours, and the battery life seems better then i was expecting so far! It is very responsive also. Only negative so far is the media apps like netflix amazon and disney really need a update for a pinch to zoom function as it is small big widescreen bars or zoomed in to full screen and missing most of the sides there needs to be a nice inbetween screen please add this! I know the fold 8 has better viewing screen but as the flagship fold i feel this is missing. However so far everyone i show this phone too literally says wow when i unfold it!

After years of watching the Fold line, this is the one that convinced me to switch. The new wider shape is the game changer — closed, it feels like a normal phone you can actually type on one-handed, and opened up it's a proper mini tablet. The crease is barely noticeable now, which surprised me the most. Performance is effortless, the battery genuinely lasts me a full day of heavy use, and split-screen multitasking has changed how I work on the go — reviewing documents and email side by side is brilliant. I've been really enjoying the Samsung Z Fold 8 Ultra so far. As this is my first foldable phone, there has definitely been a bit of a learning curve, but it's been a positive experience overall. The larger inner screen is fantastic for browsing, reading emails, multitasking and watching videos. The foldable design took a little time to get used to, but it's quickly become second nature. Performance has been excellent, and the battery life is good, I can get a day and half with normal usage. Which is better than my old phone. Overall, I'm very impressed and would recommend it to anyone considering their first foldable phone.

Only a couple of days in after upgrading from my Fold 7 and immediately noticed some viable improvements. Battery, on the first day, you are setting up everything and there seems to be a significant improvement. Display is definitely brighter and less reflective. Hinge is really snappy to open and much easier (though no problem with fold 7 either). One thing I love about one UI is the responsiveness of the whole UI compared to Magic OS (I have a V6 too). Time will tell on Durability but the fold 7 was perfect for a year, so no reason to doubt the ultra. Speakers are great for such a thing device.

I have been a loyal z flip girly since the first generation and I have throughly felt like every new flip came with updates that were absolutely worth the upgrade year after year. The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.

This is my first Z flip phone and I decided this was the time to try it. I wanted to use it a couple weeks before I had a verdict and honestly I love it. I really enjoy all the different ways you can use the flip and find myself using the front screen for more than I thought I would. I love the fingerprint scanner it's so fast and the screen when open is perfect for my Netflix. The fact that I can flip it closed and it will fit in my shirt pocket just is so helpful when my hands are full. I had the option to switch back if I wanted to for cheaper to a bar type phone and I decided nope I just like the flip too much.

I chose the Flip8 due to the lack of decent sized pockets in women's clothing and the nostalgic feeling of the old flip phones I liked so much years ago. The Flip8 fits in my pockets so much better than my last small galaxy S24. And, I enjoy the retro feeling of flipping the phone open! The Flip8 may not have noticeable advancements from my last S24, but I am enjoying the style. The screen is great. The battery life is good, but not a huge improvement over other new phones. That would be my only criticism. It's all about the compact size for me. Please don't stop making Flips! And, please keep making phones in light colors. It's easier to find in a bag.

From switching from the s series of samsung phones to the z series, the experience I've had on the phone so far has been excellent and offers a different experience to the s series at no drawbacks. The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

First week review of the Fold after having the owned the last six Galaxy S2x Ultra models. Holds battery surprisingly well. Screens are very responsive and good resolution. OS is very fast and responsive even with the fold/unfold requiring everything on the screen to change modes. Very smart to have front facing cameras on both screens. Room for improvement; a little hard to open the fold without tapping things on the small screen, perhaps a finger gap to open would be better. In the open screen mode the keyboard doesn't make use of the middle of the fold which makes it a bit hard to open. Overall this might be the time to go Fold if you are considering it.

My last fold was the Z Fold 3. I switched back to the S series as the Fold was a bit lacking in some specs. I started to miss the bigger screen. I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

As a fan of foldables the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra finally brings everything together. The battery is big and reliable, so you’re not constantly watching the percentage. The crease is still technically there, but it’s finally at the point where you mostly forget about it. Durability feels much better thanks to the titanium structure and tougher overall design. The hinge is smoother, sturdier, and just satisfying to use. The responsiveness makes the whole phone feel fun and fast every time you open it. If you already love foldables or have been waiting for one that feels “ready” for everyday life, the Z Fold 8 Ultra really does feel like that milestone device.

Very impressed with this phone. I needed a desktop PC replacement as my partner was recently disabled and I have had to be with her and on my PC at the same time. Having this phone allows me to be on call and able to do almost everything that I do on the PC. The display is fantastic, the build feels sturdy and the hinge is strong. The battery seems good, haven't gone below 50% and I only charge overnight. Charging was iffy at first but, with the right plug and cable, it seems fine now. Overall I'm really pleased with the phone.

I'm absolutely in love with the new pink Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8! The colour is stunning it's stylish, modern, and definitely stands out. The foldable design is so convenient, you cannot see the flit screen ince opened showing 0 crese! Its that smooth. Flipping makes traveling easier as it fits easily into my pocket or handbag while still opening up to a gorgeous ful -sized display. The camera quality is fantastic, the battery easily lasts me through the day and everything runs so smoothly. I also love how customisable it is, especially being able to personalise the cover screen to make it feel unique. It pairs perfectly with my Samsung devices, making everyday tasks so much easier. Samsung has really outdone themselves with the Galaxy Z Flip8 it's easily my favourite phone I've owned.

Jujur pas pertama pegang kaget. Ditutup keliatan kayak HP biasa, elegan dan gak norak. Giliran dibuka... langsung jadi layar gede banget. Enak banget buat nonton, edit, atau kerjaan yang biasanya ribet di HP kecil. Dipake seharian juga aman. Mau buka banyak aplikasi bareng, main game, edit video, semuanya jalan bareng tanpa lemot. Rasanya udah kayak bawa HP + tablet sekaligus. Kameranya juga gak main" Foto siang tajem, malem juga jernih. Terus bisa selfie pake kamera belakang lewat layar depan. Hasilnya beda jauh, lebih bagus. Yang paling saya suka tuh fitur AI nya, Mau hapus orang yang gak sengaja ke foto? Tinggal lingkari, ilang. Ini bukan cuma HP, tapi investasi.

I am upgrading from a Samsung Galaxy Z flip 6 to a Samsung Galaxy Z flip 8 and the differences are very impressive. The camera is much improved and the battery life feels a lot better. I love the amount of care and thought Samsung gave to the external screen, what you can do now on the outside is so impressive it's almost like having two phones in one. The color is also very nice with the pink tone. Also the opening and closing now is much better than before it has a more satisfying click when it opens and closes. Samsung also continues to do an incredible job with the crease in the screen when the Z Fold 8 is opened.

Jujur… akhirnya kesampaian juga punya Galaxy Z Fold8 😭😭 Awalnya cuma penasaran sama HP lipat, tapi setelah nyobain sendiri ternyata seru juga ya punya layar gede yang bisa dilipat 😂 Yang paling aku suka sejauh ini pas Fold8 dibuka. Layarnya lega banget, jadi enak buat nonton, scroll, browsing, atau buka beberapa aplikasi sekaligus. Rasanya kayak bawa HP dan tablet dalam satu device, tapi tinggal dilipet kalau udah selesai Desainnya juga bikin tiap kali buka HP masih suka mikir, “wah, keren juga punya HP begini” 😂 Masih baru banget pakainya, jadi pastinya masih mau eksplor banyak fitur lainnya. Tapi sejauh ini first impression-ku: puas banget sama keputusan beli Fold8!

The thing i really love for tge Z fold 8 ultra is its display. 8.0 screen plus naka 3000 nits na so mas ma enjoy mo siya ma use even your outside and direct sunlight. Plus wala na siyang glare from mga lights. Hindi na nagrereflect.Hindi nadin halata ang crease niya as in parang wala na talaga. Mas smooth na gamitin specially kong e unfold mo. Mas mataas ang durability level nito kasi mas matibay na yong flex hinge nya, mas may peace of mind ka na while using the device.. Very responsive with its 120hz. Plus naka 5000mah na yong battery. With 30mims. naka 65% kana din nang battery so less waiting time sa pag charge.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
